Privacy policy: no accounts, no payments, only visit counts

1. What Parakh Desk never collects

Parakh Desk does not run accounts, wallets or a cashier, so there is nothing to sign in to. A password, OTP, UPI PIN, bank or card number, PAN, Aadhaar number or ID selfie is never requested by us.

That makes the rule simple for readers: a request like that carrying our name is phishing. Ignore it, and report it on the 1930 cybercrime helpline or through cybercrime.gov.in.

2. Cookies and visit statistics

Cookies help us count visits: which pages are opened, on what type of device, from which country, and roughly how long a page is read. Only totals are read: they show which guides readers need and which pages load badly on low-cost phones.

The banner asks for your consent. Cookies can be blocked or cleared from the browser whenever you like, and nothing on the site breaks if you refuse them.

These statistics are not used to identify anyone and are never sold.

3. Server logs and how long we keep them

Our hosting, like any other, writes technical logs: IP address, browser, requested page, time and error codes. They help defend the site against attacks and show us which links are broken.

Logs stay only as long as that work needs, normally a few weeks, before they are deleted or overwritten. They are never merged with other data to build a profile of a reader.

4. Leaving for 4rabet: whose rules apply

Some links take you to 4rabet. These are affiliate links: the address can carry a code that tells the operator the click started on Parakh Desk, so a commission can be counted if an account is opened. That code identifies our site, not you.

Anything you type on 4rabet falls under its own policies. When we checked the site in October 2026, its footer offered a link titled Personal Data; a standalone Privacy Policy or Cookies page did not turn up. Read what is there before sharing documents; its T&C allow ID and address proof to be requested.

We cannot control how an outside site handles your data.

5. Your rights and how to reach us

We handle personal data under the data protection rules that apply to us: you can ask what personal data we hold on you, request corrections and request erasure once the data is no longer needed. As we keep no accounts, the only data we might hold is the logs and statistics described above.

Questions about it go to [email protected]. No reply from us will contain a request for an OTP, a password or a payment, and we cannot act on any CroreBet or 4rabet account.
